Ethiopia Gesha Village - Lot #25/046 - Surma Honey

This exceptional lot comes from the Surma block of Gesha Village. It is a honey processed Geisha 1931 variety — the cherry skin is removed while a significant amount of sticky mucilage remains on the bean before drying — producing a sweeter body and intensified aromatic clarity.

The cup opens with an intense floral bouquet of honeysuckle and rose water lifted by bright lemon. The heart reveals red fruits — raspberry and a hint of blackcurrant — rounded by red apple sweetness and a silky texture. Gentle spicy notes and a long, perfumed finish complete the profile.

Different extraction methods reveal different faces: filter brings a vibrant, tea‑like cup with strong floral lift; espresso is more concentrated and creamy, after proper rest.

A refined, aromatic Gesha for lovers of floral, citrusy and red‑fruit driven coffees.
